The specifications of the Yars-M are unknown at this point but could be provided with some sort of facilities to support road or railroad mobility. The Russian Strategic Forces command announced the deployment of the fifth generation Yars-M ICBM by the end of 2014 or early 2015 on April 18, 2013. The Yars-M is slated to enter service by 2018 carrying six nuclear warheads compared with four on the previous version of the Yars missile.
