Description

The Brazilian Navy MANSUP is a subsonic anti-ship missile developed by Avibras Aeroespacial along other Brazilian companies intended to equip future surface ships. Externally the MANSUP missile is similar to the French Exocet subsonic missile with sea-skimming capabilities. Avibras is responsible for the development of the rocket motor, wings and other elements of the new missile. The first prototype was test fired in October/November 2018 and the fifth in April 2023 with the weapon system slated to enter service with the Brazilian Navy by 2024-2025.
