Guardium Israeli Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV)
Guardium

The Guardium Israeli Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), a semi-autonomous unmanned ground system, revolutionizes the effectiveness and utility of perimeter security and represents a long-awaited breakthrough in combat applications such as force protection, route proving, combat logistics support, and more. The Guardium UGV™ was designed to perform routine missions, such as programmed patrols along border routes, and autonomously react to unscheduled events in line with guidelines programmed explicitly for the site characteristics and security doctrine. The Guardium UGV complies with ongoing military and industry standards, for which it was exhaustively trialed over thousands of operational hours. The Guardium UGV system is an inclusive solution, comprising the vehicles, a command and control application, a customer-tailored communication system, a modular selection of payloads, and a comprehensive logistic support package. Technologically versatile and robust solution, the Guardium UGV Autonomous Kit could easily be migrated to different types of vehicles based on customer preferences. A fleet of Guardium vehicles can be used as sentries, controlled by the MCC, from where they are launched on routine patrols and ambushes or operated in response to events received from an early warning or perimeter defense system. The MCC also provides automatic tactical area definitions based on terrain, doctrine, and intelligence, which assist in preparing the operational planning and programming for USVs. Each USV can also be manually controlled remotely.
