Description
The Rad-500, also known as Ra'd-500, is an advanced tactical ballistic missile featuring a new composite solid fuel engine with half the weight of previous models. The Rad-500 has a maximum range of 500 kilometers and its development is based upon the Fateh-110 missile. The Islamic Republic of Iran unveiled the new Rad-500 ballistic missile in February 2020.
