Description
The 9S38E is a target search radar mounted on a tracked chassis and developed to support the Buk-M3/Viking ground-based air defense system. The 9S38E radar has been optimized for detection of stealth targets and unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) as well as a wide range of airborne targets including cruise and tactical ballistic missiles. The new radar station has a maximum detection range of 200 kilometers and was unveiled in 2021.
