Description
The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is a counter-insurgency aircraft derived from the Air Tractor’s AT-802U Sky Warden light airplane. The AT-802U platform was modified by L3Harris Corporation for the Armed Overwatch program. SOCOM selected the OA-1K aircraft in August 2022 with 75 airplanes to be produced by 2029 under a $3 billion deal. The Skyraider II entered service in 2025.
