Description

The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) LT-2 is an advanced precision-guided bomb intended to engage stationary and moving targets on the ground. The weapon features some sort of imaging sensor at the front section and gliding surfaces at the fuselage's body and tail. The LT-2 smart weapon was developed by he Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) to meet the requirements of the PLAAF, Pakistani Air Force and export customers operating aircraft such as the FC-1/JF-17 fighter jet. The LT-2 was showcased at the Dubai Airshow, United Arab Emirates, in November 2013.
