The Kh-103 has an estimated range of 3,500 kilometers powered by a smaller turbojet engine. The missile also features a new folding wing with changes to the fuselage interior layout to provide for the outstanding range. A single Su-57 fighter aircraft may be able to launch up to two Kh-103 long-range cruise missiles. The missile development started in October 2023 and was ready for fielding by August 2025.
