Description
The 2S44 Giatsint-K is a wheeled self-propelled howitzer developed by Russia starting back to 2023 and entering service in February 2025. The 2S44 Giatsint-K combines the 2S43 Malva wheeled chassis and the 2A36 Giatsint-B 152mm 50-caliber cannon. The 2A36 gun allows a maximum firing range of 30.5 kilometers or up to 40 kilometers firing Rocket Assisted Projectiles (RAPs). Russia displayed the first 2S44 Giatsint-K in December 2024.
