Description

The US Army Modernized TACMS or M57A1 is an upgraded version of the ATACMS tactical ballistic missile with a maximum range between 300 and 450 kilometers. Lockheed Martin upgrade includes new electronics and reset of the 20-year shelf life for each missile undergoing the modernization process. The M57A1 was first delivered to the US Army in 2016 and is expected to be fielded in 2018 as refurbishment for existing missiles.
