Description
The STR (Silah Tespit Radarı, Weapon Detection Radar) is an S-band battlefield radar designed for mortar locating. It detects mortar, artillery, and rocket fire from enemy forces, precisely calculating both the firing and impact locations. The system incorporates an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) and Digital Beam Forming (DBF) structures, enabling electronic scanning and silhouette tracking capabilities across its instrumented range of 100 km.
