Description

The US Army Terrestrial Layer System – Echelons Above Brigade (TLS-EAB) is a truck-mounted electronic warfare (EW) system with the additional capability to provide simultaneously both signals intelligence and cyber functions. In August 2022, Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics were selected to provide concepts of the new TLS-EAB system. The program was launched in 2020 and the US Army expects to down select a single contractor to carry out the program in the summer of 2023. The new EW system should be fielded by 2025. The US Army selected Lockheed Martin in June 2023 to develop the TLS-EAB system.
