Description
The Talaeey-e is a new supersonic anti-ship cruise missile developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran to engage surface targets from land or from sea. The missile was first tested successfully in June 2020 in the Sea of Oman and has an estimated range of 300 kilometers. The Iranian Navy expects to deploy the missiles on vertical launchers within surface ships. The missile is expected to complement Iran’s long-range subsonic anti-ship missiles.
