Description
The Patria AMV28A is a 28-ton class variant of the AMV armored vehicle that can be equipped with a Protector MCT-30 turret featuring a 30mm cannon. The vehicle can operate in sea-stage 3 conditions carrying up to 8 dismounted infantrymen in support of amphibious operations. The new AMV variant also features desert-tested air conditioning (AC) and powerplant. The armor protection has been upgraded to deal with modern threats. The AMV28A armored vehicle completed its amphibious testing in June 2017.
