Description

The Wolf ESK is an armored, air portable derivative of Mercedes-Benz G model 270 CDi vehicle suitable for special operations forces. It features excellent drive and off road characteristics, high reliability and low operating costs. Different mission modules can be adapted to Wolf vehicle for missions ranging from materiel/personnel transport to command and control and communications. Its high mobility, low weight and firepower make Wolf suitable for special operations fighting missions. The weapon options for the Wolf include a 12.7mm roof-mounted machine gun or alternatively a 40mm grenade launcher. Moreover, Wolf features front and rear mounts for 7.62mm machine guns. The German Army could acquire up to 900 Wolf/Serval vehicles for its special operations forces.
