The Qadr H is a new variant of the Qard ballistic missile family having a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers with the capability of being fired from underground silos and mobile platforms. The liquid propellant Qadr H features a radar evading warhead to allow it to penetrate areas protected by missile defenses such as the state of Israel. Besides, the new ballistic missile can carry a single blast fragmentation warhead or multiple reentry vehicles depending on the target profile. The existence of the new weapon was revealed by the Islamic Republic of Iran in early February 2018. The Qadr H missile was developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran under its national missile program following the arms embargo imposed by the United States.
