Description
The Space Development Agency (SDA) Tracking Layer of Tranche 3 (TRKT3) is intended to provide warning and tracking of incoming missiles. The TRKT3 contract was awarded to Northrop Grumman in December 2025 as part of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). The first of 96 satellites may be placed into orbit in 2028-2029. Lockheed Martin will build 18 satellites.
