Description

The RUTA Block 3 is a long-range cruise missile developed jointly between Destinus and Rheinmetall to strike deep inside Russian territory. It is powered by the Destinus T220 turbojet engine allowing a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers carrying a 250 kilograms warhead. The missile navigation system will be far more complex that the one provided to its predecessors and will include TERCON. The navigation system will be resistant to GPS jamming. The first flight of the RUTA Block 3 is scheduled for 2027 with an entry into service in 2028-2029.
