Description
The Peruvian Navy HDF-3200 is a new multi-purpose frigate being built by Hanwha Defense (HD), Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and SIMA. The frigate will be equipped with vertical launch surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles and torpedoes. The 3,400-ton class frigate will be provided with hangar and flight deck for a single 10-12 tons helicopter. The ship is expected to be equipped with a medium caliber naval gun and stealth design. The Peruvian Navy expects to commission the new frigate by 2029.
