80K6M
The 80K6M is a mobile S-band (IEEE designation) or E/F-band (NATO designation) 3D air surveillance radar developed by the Ukrainian company Iskra (Zaporozhye), leveraging experience from the ST-68U. It employs phase-modulated intrapulse modulation to achieve good range resolution with relatively low pulse power, offering an instrumented range of 400 km and accuracy of 100 m in range and 0.33° in azimuth/elevation. The entire radar system, along with a container housing operator workstations, is mounted on an 8x8 off-road truck, enabling extremely rapid deployment without requiring technical site preparation and supporting antenna rotation speeds of 5 or 10 revolutions per minute. While its performance is comparable to systems like the Northrop Grumman AN/TPS-78 or Thales GM-400, the 80K6M offers superior mobility and a significantly lower price point.
