Description

The 2S7 Pion is a Soviet tracked self-propelled howitzer equipped with 2A44 203mm rifled gun developed in the early 1970s. The 2S7 primary armament has a range of 37.5 kilometers firing conventional artillery rounds or 55.5 kilometers firing rocket assisted projectiles (RAPs). The artillery system can provide a sustained rate of fire of two rounds per minute.
