Description
The New AMRAAM-ER variant features the guidance section of the AIM-120C-8 missile and an improved rocket motor to achieve a greater range. The new surface-to-air missile variant was first test fired in February 2024. The missile is expected to improve the performance of the NASAMS air defense system.
