Description
The Ka-32A11M is a multifunctional helicopter derived from the Ka-32A11BC powered by two Klimov VK-2500PS-02 turbine gas engines featuring automated digital engine control system. The more powerful engines enable a cargo hook for payloads of up to 5,300 kilograms. The Ka-32A11M incorporates a full glass cockpit to support day/night and all weather operations. Besides, the new SP-32 fire-extinguishing system enhances its firefighting capabilities allowing dropping of up to 4,000 liters of liquid even in freezing conditions. The Ka-32A11M helicopter variant was introduced in May 2021 and is expected to enter revenue service in the 2022-2023 timeframe.
