ARS-14KM Russian 6x6 Decontamination Truck

The Eastern Military District’s NBC protection regiment based in the Amur Region in Russia’s Far East has received a batch of advanced ARS-14KM versatile decontamination trucks based on the KAMAZ-43114 cross-country vehicle, the district’s press office said. "The truck is designed to disinfect and decontaminate military hardware and separate terrain and road sections. The truck is versatile and can be also used to extinguish fire, generate aerosol screens, make special solutions, heat water, wash servicemen, etc.," the press office said. The ARS-14KM decontamination vehicle is designed for decontaminating military hardware and terrain, setting smokescreens and heating process solutions. According to the press office, the regiment will start learning to operate the advanced military hardware at the beginning of the new training period that will start on December 1. Now, the crews are undergoing preliminary training.
