The LCM-1E is 110-ton class fast landing craft designed and built by Navantia shipyards for the Spanish Navy. The LCM-1E vessel can achieve a top speed of 22 knots and has maximum range of 190 nm at economic speed. Navantia delivered 12 LCM-1Es to the Spanish Navy beginning in May 2006 through January 2008. The craft is also intended for the export market. In September 2011, Australia announced its intention to purchase 12 LCM-1E crafts.
