Description
The Type 96 Engineer Vehicle has been designed on the basis of the ZTZ-96 main battle tank to remove obstacles within the battlefield in support of Chinese armored formations. It features a multipurpose dozer blade, crane, and mine clearance plough. The new engineer vehicle entered service within the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) before 2015.
