Description
The Arabel is an X-band 3D multifunction battlefield radar designed for surveillance, target tracking, and missile guidance. It features a rectangular phased array antenna with 4,000 elements, a peak power of 150 kW, and an instrumented range of 100 km. The system can simultaneously track up to 100 targets and manage uplink transmissions of guidance commands to 16 missiles. With a beamwidth of 2° and an antenna rotation speed of 60 revolutions per minute, the Arabel is adaptable for both land-mobile applications, such as a main ground sensor for a medium-range surface-to-air missile system, and naval configurations.
