Description

The RSR-102 is a low-cost, small, and lightweight ground surveillance radar manufactured by Reutech Radar Systems in South Africa. Operating on the principle of Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) radar, it functions in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation) at frequencies between 9.5 and 9.975 GHz. This radar provides automatic detection and recognition of moving targets, such as personnel, vehicles, and other objects, within an instrumented range of 1,000 meters and offers a range resolution of 2 meters. Its design incorporates Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) characteristics, making it suitable for perimeter surveillance.
